Walter Larkin
President & Founder, LARKIN:NYC
A born-and-raised New Yorker, Walter Larkin attended Pace University, earning a Bachelor's degree in Real Estate and a Master's in Marketing.
He began his career in real estate finance, working as a banker for Chase Manhattan and Fuji Bank, Ltd. He moved onto the real estate lending world, serving as Director of Mortgage Lending for the Manhattan Life Insurance Company.
The in-depth experience he gained in finance and real estate lending sparked an interest in residential sales. Walter moved to one of the largest real estate brokerage houses in New York City, where over the next 14 years, he built extensive, first-hand knowledge of the city, its neighborhoods, and its signature buildings & real estate developments.
As technology started to transform seemingly every industry except real estate, Walter spotted an opportunity in the market and formed LARKIN:NYC. This new company combined the exceptional customer service of the smaller, premier white-glove brokerages with the efficiencies driven by technology that allow it to compete alongside larger firms.
Today, LARKIN:NYC continues to push the boundaries of the New York real estate market and set new expectations for what a real estate brokerage can do.
